A new-arrivals check for home-goods stores. Every new product is checked against the vendor’s own line sheet before it goes live.

THE OFFER
Check each new batch before it goes live.
A store adds 30 new pieces from a supplier. The vendor’s line sheet has every size, material and care note, but the product pages don’t, because someone has to find and type each one. The kit’s repeatable ritual — the Line-sheet round — does three things:
It flags the missing facts, product by product.
It drafts each one word for word from the line sheet, citing the file, row and column.
It marks “ask vendor” where the sheet is silent.
You verify the drafts and send a short report.
Try it with your own data first:check your own line sheet and download the cited fact sheet — that is exactly what a client would receive. Add last week’s line sheet on that same page and the fact sheet shows what changed: new products, facts now drafted, drafts whose wording changed, and what still says ask vendor. Matched by SKU. Nothing is uploaded.
Price to test: $49 per batch of up to 50 new products, about $1 per product. That sits at the low end of published per-SKU data-entry rates. There is also an optional one-time $99 baseline check of up to 250 existing products.
Why we changed the offer. Version 1.0.2 proposed a $49/month weekly audit. An independent commercial reviewer showed that a $1.99/month app already covers generic audits, and that re-checking an unchanged catalog finds little. The new offer is per batch, only needed when products arrive, and it does something the cheap tools don’t. Demand is still unproven.

The report fits on one screen before you scroll: a one-line summary, four counts and the three things to fix this week. Below that come a product × fact grid with the legend stated once, then the line-sheet drafts, then an appendix with every finding and its source row. It’s a single HTML file you can print to PDF.
How accurate is it?
The checks read product wording, so we measure them on labelled products. Before changing any rule for 1.0.3, the builder wrote a new blind set of 58 products across three families and froze its labels. It was scored once, and nothing was tuned afterwards.

Read these numbers with care.
The same builder session wrote the blind set (after reading the reviewers’ failing phrasings) and the rules, so expect lower figures on catalogs nobody has seen.
The set is small: one error moves a family by 5–7 points.
The functional reviewer’s own blind test of 1.0.2 found 72.1% of advisories correct and 79.5% of gaps caught (furniture 64%). The old engine scores about the same on this set.
Findings say a fact is not stated. They never verify it.
These are assumptions, not results. The same model ships in the kit (ECONOMICS.csv). It counts the hours to win each customer, the minutes to review each batch, and customers who leave.

How much runs by itself
Partially automated today.
Automated · tested Once your own scheduled run is set up (the kit ships an example, not an installed scheduler), a file dropped into a client’s inbox is checked, drafted, compared with last time and turned into a report. Stale inboxes are flagged after 8 days, and duplicates are skipped.
Mock-tested onlyPulling new products from Shopify’s Admin API. It works only with an app the merchant creates in their own account, and it has not been run on a real store.
A personGetting exports and line sheets, verifying every draft, sending the report, billing.
A scripted dry run of four weeks (fictional data, not an agent session) ships in the kit. Any rule edit must pass a regression gate first.
