YOUR LINE SHEET · FIRST RUN
Bring your line sheet. Leave with a cited fact sheet.
Paste your vendor’s line sheet or drop the file — in the same shape as the sample (one SKU or Style # column, facts in the other columns). Catalog Scout checks every product for missing size, material, care and assembly, drafts the missing facts word for word from your sheet with each row and column cited, and marks “ask vendor” where your sheet is silent. Add last week’s line sheet to see product and draft changes. Add last week’s Shopify product export next to this week’s and the fact sheet names new findings, resolved findings, and what is still open — the same compareRuns rules the kit uses on a structured report. Nothing is guessed.
Start with the vendor file.

Shape: one SKU / Style # / Item # column to match products, fact columns found by their headings (Material, Dimensions, Care…). Download the sample’s shape to compare.
Matched to the sheet by SKU · up to 2 MB
Skip this if you only have the line sheet: the product list is built from the sheet’s own SKUs, and the report says so. Image and price gaps then describe what a store listing still needs, not your sheet. To name new, resolved, and still-open findings, add last week’s Shopify export below — two product files, not two line sheets.
Compare with last week (optional)
Matched by SKU, not by row number. Shows products that are new or gone, facts now drafted, drafts that changed, and what still says ask vendor. Stays in this browser.
Uses the existing compareRuns rules on two product exports: new findings, resolved findings, products that left the export, still-open findings. Keys on product handle + rule + SKU, not row number. Leave blank to skip.
No file leaves this page. Results are not saved after you leave.
What the sheet gives you — and what it doesn’t.

Your cited fact sheet
One self-contained page: summary, top fixes, what changed since last week when you added that sheet or last week’s Shopify export, the grid, every draft with its row and column cited, and an appendix. Print it to PDF or attach it to an email.
A preflight, with a person signing off.
Catalog Scout checks whether a fact is stated, not whether it is true. Wording checks read the title, description, type, tags, size and material options, and metafields. They can miss unusual phrasing. Image links are not opened, and zero prices may be intentional.
Line-sheet drafts are copied from your file with the row and column cited. If your sheet has no value, the draft says “ask vendor” and nothing is filled in. Two Shopify exports are compared with the same handle + rule + SKU keys as a structured report — row shifts do not invent a fix. No store connection, billing or AI service is used on this page.
