Start here: AfterAir 0.1.0 beta
Beta / Working prototype · demand unproven. AfterAir formats the bullets, quotes and chapter times you provide into four draft files: show notes, chapter markers, three social posts and a guest thank-you. It does not listen to audio, transcribe, summarise or rewrite your text, and it never invents a timestamp. It is not a host dashboard, CRM, or email sender. The tool uploads nothing: every note stays in your browser. (If you choose to use an LLM with the prompts in AI-OPERATOR.md, that step sends text to a third party; get your client's OK first.)
Be honest with yourself first: free tools already write show notes (some with AI), some hosts add AI notes for about $5/month, and a human writer on a marketplace costs from about $36. Read BUSINESS-PLAN.md and ECONOMICS.md before you try to sell this.
- Open
OPEN-ME-AfterAir.html(double-click; no internet needed) or the web demo. The fictional sample (show "Shelf Talk", host "Casey Morgan", guest "Riley Quinn") is already loaded and built. - Look at the four outputs and the warning box. Edit any field and press Build the four files to rebuild. Load the fictional sample brings it back.
- Download
show-notes.txt,chapter-markers.txt,social-posts.txtandguest-thank-you.txt. These are drafts you finish and hand over; the files carry no tool branding unless you tick the optional credit box. - Press Clear and enter my own episode and type your own. The publish date fills in today's local date. Type timestamps as
04:12 Label,[04:12] Label,Label 04:12or4m12s Label(Markdown bold or backticks around the time are fine); unreadable lines are listed, never guessed. Without timestamps, chapter-markers.txt contains[TIME NEEDED]placeholders for you to fill in from the audio. The tool rejects SSN-shaped and card-number-shaped text in any field (that is working as intended). This is a safety net, not a scanner: it catches the usual shapes, with spaces, dots, slashes, dashes or line breaks between the groups, but it will miss numbers written in other ways (for example spelled out in words, or split by other text). The JSON function also rejects any field whose name contains a word such as ssn, subscriber, payment, credit card, medical, password, or a name that ends in token or secret, such astoken, sessionTokenorclientSecret(case does not matter); the form has no such fields and cannot detect those in free text. Never paste private data. - The
https://botmybiz.com/...links in this file point at the public kit page and demo. If a link does not open (for example before the kit is on the public shelf), useOPEN-ME-AfterAir.html(it works offline) and compare the ZIP hash printed on the kit page when it is available. - Want the free pilot season? Read
PILOT.md, then run three free pilots and record your real minutes.
Then: LAUNCH-CHECKLIST.md before you send anything to a host, BRAND.md for voice and labels, AI-OPERATOR.md for the episode workflow and the transcript prompt, FIRST-TEN-CUSTOMERS.md for finding hosts, ECONOMICS.md for the (hypothetical) numbers. source/ holds the tested pack engine (node --test source/test.mjs; Node 20 verified; Node 18+ is not verified). The ZIP also includes source/sample.json (the fictional sample as JSON for the tests), four sample-*.txt files (the built outputs for that sample), and a root sample.json copy used by the offline app — same episode data, different packaging.
Check your download. This archive cannot contain its own SHA-256 (that would change the hash). The sha256 for afterair-0.1.0.zip is printed on the kit page (https://botmybiz.com/kits/afterair/); compare it with sha256sum afterair-0.1.0.zip. Inside the archive, manifest.json lists every file except the two manifests, with a hash and purpose (22 files), and package-manifest.json lists every file except itself, with byte counts (23 files). fileCount (24) is the number of files in the folder, both manifests included.
