Pilot: ShowScore 0.1.1 beta
Status: Beta · demand unproven. Post-show math only. Nothing is uploaded.
Three free vendor pilots are the commercial test bed for the ShowScore beta. Outreach for pilots follows FIRST-TEN-CUSTOMERS.md: individual, relevant, truthful, brand-only, non-spam, no bulk, clear opt-out. This file does not authorize bulk or misleading messages.
Terms (same for all three pilots)
- Free season scoring. The operator scores the vendor's worked shows for
one season (up to 10 shows), exports the scorecard, CSV, and rebook list.
- Operator does the first show import. The operator enters the first two
shows with the vendor on a call so the vendor sees the fields and the honesty labels.
- The vendor keeps everything. The printable scorecard and the rebook
list are theirs to keep and use in next season's applications — free regardless of what happens next.
- Honest framing. The vendor hears "beta, demand unproven" before the
first number is entered. Post-show math only; no fair discovery, no price setting, no tax advice. Nothing is uploaded.
- The vendor's payment: honest feedback (what confused them, what the
verdict changed) and one referral to another vendor each.
Record for every pilot
- which outreach channel brought them;
- shows scored (names, dates, verdicts);
- operator time per show and per season digest;
- whether the vendor scored 2+ shows without help (the demand signal);
- whether the rebook list changed any real rebooking decision;
- the vendor's one-line verdict on the tool;
- referral given yes/no; converted to $79 setup yes/no and why.
Kill test
If all three pilots finish a season and none would pay $79 for setup, or no pilot scored more than one show unprompted, the commercial wedge is wrong: re-scope the offer (different segment, different output) before publishing anything beyond the free beta. Do not redefine "they liked it" as a pass.
What the pilots do NOT prove
Pilots prove nothing about revenue, conversion, retention, or whether the $19/month tracking experiment survives. They prove only that three vendors let you score their season and told you the truth about it.
