First ten customers: PoolSheet 0.1.0 beta
All outreach is drafts-only for agents. A human sends from the approved mailbox. Targets: solo pool-service operators, not chains.
- Supply-house counter card — one-page flyer at the local pool-supply counter where solo operators buy tabs and shock. Offer: "your week on one card — free, no account."
- Local Facebook groups — neighborhood/homeowner groups in pool-heavy metros where "pool guy" recommendations get asked weekly. Helpful comment first; kit link only when someone asks about tracking service.
- Two ride-along pilots — ask two solo operators to run one week on the sheet in exchange for their honest notes. Record what they actually used.
- YouTube comments — pool-service channel videos about routing and chemical costs; helpful comment, kit mention only if on-topic.
- Reddit — r/pools and trade subs: answer routing/chemical-tracking questions; mention the free sheet only when it directly answers the ask.
- Nextdoor — offer the free sheet in local service-provider threads.
- Distributor rep intro — ask a chemical distributor rep to pass the sheet to route techs who complain about stockouts.
- Chamber of commerce — small-business resource lists in sun-belt towns.
- Craigslist services — reply helpfully to pool-service ads that read like one-person shops; one kit link, no spam.
- Referral loop — the share row on the kit page: "Know someone this could help?" Every pilot is asked who else runs a solo route.
Success signal: 3 of 10 run a full week on the sheet and keep the CSVs. Demand stays unproven until then.
